How can it not? You don't have to be a Korean see the ripple effect. Male idols don't come out because 1. And so of course it links back to industry. But as a wider society the overriding framework of laws and rights in SK are still against this community. And it's awesome that they make themselves heard. I agree with others here that there are going to be tons of different opinions in South Korea, and we know there are many LGBT+. But which is not necessarily naturally done in the spirit of true solidarity. We're still getting fanservice, albeit now with a bit more more honed and 'sympathetic' angle for I-audiences, with half-hints and evermore queer outfitting and backdrops. If there weren't whopping great barriers to coming out, we would see more out gay and bi idols, esp men. It's as if people don't want to admit there's a problem in K-pop. And I don't know why you are being clowned and disliked so much when what you've said are fundamental facts. In Kpop' world you can ACT (?) gay (you are an entertainer), but you can not BE gay (not a life-style). People and their thoughts are always going to be a broad spectrum There are many people who want to see themselves represented and I can assure you nothing in this world is just black and white. I live in Korea now and I've been part of the pride parades here. There is no such thing as 'kpop world' only non-accepting fans who try to control their idols to fit their fantasies and narrow-minded bigots Imagine thinking a whole country filled with over 50 million people all think the same way.
There are a lot who are open minded and are willing to learn. Please don't paint all Koreans as bigots or ignorant. Yes a lot of people are closed minded, yes it's not as progressive as other countries, but people from everywhere are capable of thinking in the grey area.
#Am i gay or bi quara tv#
I want to see real gay people on TV and so do a lot of people I know. I know it's totally wrong to joke about people and their life (personal & public). in korea everything is only in 2 colours: black and white, and something grey/in between destroys the balance (if you act gay it's only a joke, it's nothing serious). I think (it's only my personal opinion) the average korean people don't want to see real gay people on tv, but someone who acts gay. In kpop world are people from the whole Kinsey scale (they are just people), but what we have to see on korean TV/internet are the "normal" people. Honestly I agree to ur opinions on the 127 members but what are your thoughts on the dream members too? I’m almost positive that Kun and Lucas are straight. Xiaojun, YangYang, and Hendery all worshipped Ten pre-debut, I believe some of them even had them as their screen savers. Winwin is kind of like my explanation for Doyoung. Other members who I think might be gay are Winwin, Xiaojun, YangYang, and Hendery. This results in them being skinshippy with others, and not being afraid to be provocative with other boys.Īs for WayV, I don’t know much about them but I am extremely positive that Ten is gay. Mark, Haechan, and Johnny seem like bro’s who love who they are and are super comfortable in their own skin. Taeil just seems like a very sweet guy, people often mistake this quality in men for being gay.
Yuta is a huge woke ally, and sometimes, it’s a little too woke, too much for him to simply be an ally. Jaehyun checks out a lot of other male idols, including the other boys of nct, this is something you observe to immediately know if someone is gay, if a boy constantly checks out other guys, most likely they’re gay. Taeyong always dodges female catered ideal type questions, and he also has a pretty big gay panic. Members who I think can possibly be gay are Taeyong, Jaehyun, and Yuta. Doyoung reminds me a lot of someone who is too shy to embrace their gayness hence his shyness to do skinship with the other boys, his gay panic, and his passive support for the LGBT community. These two are quite flamboyant and feminine. Members who I think are for sure gay are Jungwoo and Doyoung. I am curious about what are your thoughts on nct 127 and wayv Oh, I understand what you are saying and that might be true.
